Humans of New York relates to this theory as it covers a very wide variety of New York citizens, each with their own journey in life and story to tell. It's a little bit different in that it's not just one object, but many people that help make up the entire city and form a community. It's like a different form of visual representation of the graffiti building Haley B. posted- the people are the paint and the city is the building, each leaving their own mark on the world and affecting others lives. Instead of media culture, it takes the culture and lives of the people photographed and is shared on the internet through various forms of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) The photographer has made an investment in his project, and many strangers from around the city have contributed to it, most of which have been featured in the photographs on his website.
